He: They're not as sweet as blackberries.
She: But they're cheaper!
So true! Where I grew up in the Bronx, we had mulberry trees growing everywhere but most people were afraid to eat the berries for fear they were poisonous. So mainly, the berries would ferment on cars and sidewalks.
